OLIVE OIL

Olive Oil has been around for centuries and although most people associate it with food, Olive Oil has been used for its cleansing properties by different civilizations for a very long time. It’s full of antioxidants that fight against environmental skin damage, and it’s high in squalene, a highly emollient organic compound with anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and swelling and leave your skin extra smooth and soft.

COCONUT OIL

​

Coconut Oil is a versatile ingredient with many helpful benefits, particularly in cleansing. Half of the saturated fat content of coconut oil is lauric acid, a substance with high levels of anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties to protect against bacteria and fungi. It’s an extremely effective disinfectant and is often used as a cleansing agent around the home.

CASTOR OIL

Castor Oil is a vegetable oil that has been used as an active ingredient in many skin care and cleaning products. A major component of Castor Oil is ricinoleic acid, an antibacterial fatty acid known for its anti-aging effects. Ricinoleic acid is a hydrating ingredient that easily penetrates the skin to soothe and soften as well as stimulate elastin and collagen production.
